Hey. I snagged a few photos @ the Natalie (floacist) Listening party at Queen Makeda Thursday night. Thanks to some beautiful people who accompanied me: we had a blast. There was mighty good talent in the house. Section 8 played a live set, SolRose, The Revival Poets, Tamika Love Jones and another beautiful voice that I can't remember: her name that is! Good times! Delonte Briggs Ent. hosted the event and provided everyone with a free mixtap and poster of Floacist. Thanks man!

Alright so the DC chamber of commerce business resource center is about to be a great resource. I'm in the process of leveraging my company and creating partnerships. This past year has been so educational and I can go nowhere but up from here!! Their courses are beneficial and the free advisory services are well worth it.
I was able to pass my card out to others who didn't necessarily have their business up and running yet. So definitely a great day. Links to other business opportunities are posted here and here! So the clock falls back an hour Sunday!! In essence, this means that there’s an extra hour for us to do whatever with.
What I find interesting, is that it sounds like most people seem intent on spending this extra hour ASLEEP! Assuming you do sleep in:: there’s no physical need for an additional hour’s sleep! Yes. I looked it up. So... how to use that hour?!
ARTDROMEDA -- “A Constellation of Artists” -- was developed by Daryl Landy, the Executive
Director of Pigtown Main Street, to help new and existing artists come together with local businesses within the Historic Pigtown Commercial District. And like any constellation, it’s nothing without its bright shining stars. Those stars, in this case, are our community artists and we want to showcase them and their art, so this corner of the galaxy can see just how brightly they shine. ARTDROMEDA -- presented for the 3rd time by Pigtown Mainstreet -- is a non-juried, indoor festival which is hosted by several local businesses within the Historic Pigtown Commercial District. Pigtown, a National Historic Register District, is one of Baltimore’s hidden jewels located just west of the Inner Harbor within walking distance to Downtown Baltimore. A rich history and a strong housing stock have made Pigtown a great place to live and do business. Pigtown’s desirable location makes it convenient access to Downtown Baltimore and I-95/295 and has made Pigtown an ideal urban living experience for residents who work in Downtown Baltimore or Washington DC. Pigtown Main Street was designated as one of the original Baltimore Main Streets neighborhoods in 2000 and has a history of being a strong program with great successes. Pigtown Main Street is a program initiative of the Office of the Mayor that is designed to help restore once-thriving commercial corridors in designated neighborhoods in Baltimore City. Baltimore Main Streets is part of the National Main Streets program. Strongly matrilocal societies sometimes are referred to as matrifocal, and there is some debate concerning the terminological delineation between matrifocality and matriarchy. Note that even in patriarchical systems of male-preference primogeniture there may occasionally be queens regnant, as in the case of Elizabeth I of England or Victoria of the United Kingdom.
