I just want to thank everyone who made my day & night Sunday at Haiti Uprisin'! It was fearless and bold. Even though I was rippin and runnin and trying to remember so much. The panel discussion proved to be informative. It was recorded so you will be able to witness the convo. I learned a lot about the "business opportunity" Haiti is being seen for right now by many NGO's, non-profits and frankly people who just don't care about Haiti.
This transcends into other discussions, ya know?... why must we act so unattached? Everything can be linked and related to each other. IE: music, struggle, loss... ok done. :) Pictures real real soon.

The live performance and open mic were on point. N'digo Rose laid it down, I love his odd sense of humor. It makes me feel good! Seriously felt like a lil girly girly talking to him. I can't say it enough, I love the communal feel that it brought together All to benefit the power of being together, caring and feeling!!!! The drummers paid full tribute to Africa... Africa-Brazil, Africa-Chicago, Africa-DC all of it. I dug so deep I almost suffocated. :) not true but I dug.
